WINE-MAKING

Alcoholic fermentation for about 15 days.

COLOUR

Deep ruby red with garnet shades.

ALCOHOL BY VOLUME

13,5-14° (depending on the vintage).

AGEING

18 months in barrique followed by 6 months in the bottle.

TASTING

On the nose, the fragrance of red fruits such as blueberries, blackberries, currants and plums prevails along with delicately spicy notes. On the palate, it boasts a good structure and an elegant, complex and persistent flavour.

PAIRING

Red meat dishes such as Bistecca alla Fiorentina and Peposo dell’Impruneta, roasted or stewed pigeon, all game dishes and aged cheeses.
